The last two weeks have been crazy-full of preparing for the new homeschooling year, plus getting my older two (oldest 2 of the youngest 7? whatever..) ready to launch on their post-high school endeavors.

My book club met at the beach this month, so fittingly we read a book set in the arid climate of Egypt. And the title had sand in it. Literally.

I realized this morning that in the last 3 weeks I've been out 1 time, not counting the hospital (where we spent 3 days when T was a week old) or our trips to visit my family at their guest house.
